The Play-In Tournament continues Wednesday with the Kings hosting the Mavericks and the Bulls hosting the Heat. DraftKings continues to offer huge contests for DFS players, and below, I break down some of my favorite NBA DFS options at each position for Wednesday’s Play-In Tournament action.

Josh Giddey, Chicago Bulls vs. Miami Heat, $9,500
Giddey is a must-play at this $9,500 price tag, which is a significant drop from the $10,100 salary he saw for his last start. That contest came against the same Heat team Giddey will face tonight. He was unstoppable in that win for the Bulls, posting a triple-double and 78.5 FPTS across 40 minutes. This marked the second game in a row against Miami that Giddey has scored over 60 FPTS and the sixth time in his last 12 starts that he has topped 50 FPTS.
Since the All-Star break, Giddey is scoring an elite 1.6 FPTS on a 25.2% usage rate to go with his 36.1% assist rate. Giddey has been one of the best guards in the NBA recently, and no player brings better upside than him Wednesday.

Davion Mitchell, Miami Heat at Chicago Bulls, $5,300
When the Heat faced the Bulls in a pivotal tilt last week, Mitchell was huge for Miami, posting 43.25 FPTS across 36 minutes. Despite coming off the bench, the guard has been one of the Heat’s main players of late. In his last 10 games, Mitchell ranks third for Miami with 32.7 minutes per game and he has eclipsed 30 FPTS in seven of these contests.
During this span, Mitchell is shooting 50% from the field and he is averaging 2.0 defensive stats per game. Mitchell’s prowess on the defensive end has made him a favorite of Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra. In this win-or-go home matchup with Chicago, Mitchell should see 35-40 minutes and easily out produce his affordable salary.

Anthony Davis, Dallas Mavericks at Sacramento Kings, $10,300
Davis’ huge ceiling is worth perusing in GPPs for this short slate. The big man posted a triple-double and 72.25 FPTS in his last start, which is the second time Davis has scored at least 68 FPTS in his last four games. Since being traded to the Mavericks in February, Davis is leading the team with a 32.8% usage rate and 1.5 FPTS per minute.
While the Mavericks have been cautious with Davis’ minutes, he should see close to 35 minutes Wednesday with Dallas’ season on the line. This is a great matchup for him, with the Kings ranking 22nd in defensive rating since the All-Star break. If Davis is focused and he can avoid getting hurt, he could explode in this playoff-like setting.

Kyle Anderson, Miami Heat at Chicago Bulls, $4,200
Similar to Mitchell, Anderson has been a terrific spark off the bench for the Heat. In his last eight, the veteran is amassing 24.5 FPTS per game and he has scored over 30 FPTS twice.
Anderson should see roughly 25 minutes of work Wednesday and that number could grow if Pelle Larsson (questionable, ankle) is out. Nonetheless, in this strong matchup vs. the Bulls, who lead the league in pace since the All-Star break, Anderson has a ceiling near 30 FPTS.

Center
Stud
Nikola Vucevic, Chicago Bulls vs. Miami Heat, $8,500
Vucevic heads into this do-or-die matchup with the Heat in awesome form. Before this past Sunday’s meaningless regular season finale, in which the center only logged 17 minutes, Vucevic produced 49.4 FPTS per game in his previous five starts, including a 53.25 FPTS near triple-double vs. the Heat.
Vucevic should score nothing less than 40 FPTS in this situation and is one of the best lucrative options available.

Trey Lyles, Sacramento Kings vs. Dallas Mavericks, $3,900
Despite moving back to the bench for the final two games of the regular season due to Keegan Murray (back) returning, Lyles scored 17.75 FPTS vs. the Clippers and 18 FPTS vs. the Suns. Both of these games were important for the Kings and Lyles received 27 minutes per game during this stretch, which is the type of workload he should see in this Play-In matchup against Dallas.
Lyles has faced the Mavericks three times this season and he was productive in those matchups, with 19.5 FPTS per game. The veteran is providing 0.84 FPTS per minute this season and Lyles is one of the best cheap gambles to embrace for this short slate that is lacking appealing punt plays.
