The PGA TOUR heads to Hilton Head, South Carolina this week for another Signature Event. Harbour Town Golf Links will host the RBC Heritage, and measures as a 7,213-yard par 71 with Poa Trivialis overseeded greens.
There will be just 72 golfers in the field this week and there will also be no cut, so all golfers get four full rounds of golf. Pretty much all the usual suspects will be in attendance, led at the top by World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler. Two names who are not in the field, however, are Rory McIlroy — who of course is still coming down from his historic Masters win — along with Hideki Matsuyama.
Below, I have outlined three of my favorite DraftKings plays for the week.

Patrick Cantlay ($10,000)
We throw around the phrase ‘course history’ quite a bit, but there might not be any golfer on the PGA TOUR who has better history at a particular course than Cantlay does at Harbour Town. In seven starts here dating back to 2017, Cantlay has finished T3 or better five times, while posting an additional T7 for good measure. He ranks second in this field to only Scottie Scheffler in both SG: Tee-to-Green and Total Strokes Gained per round at this course for his career.
Cantlay has also played much better to start this season than he did last, having already posted a pair of T5 finishes at both the Genesis and Amex. Excluding the Masters, he’s been absolutely dialed in with his irons, gaining 2.4 or more strokes on approach in each of his past five starts. With Scheffler seemingly off his game a little, Xander Schauffele working his way back from injury and the lack of Rory McIlroy in this field, Cantlay isn’t going to find a better spot to contend than this week.
At $10,000, he makes for a great starting point in all contest formats.
Sepp Straka ($8,800)
Straka let a lot of people down last week a the Masters when he flamed out on the back nine on Friday to miss the cut. It was certainly a week to forget for the big Austrian, but Augusta can eat some of the best in the world alive if they aren’t on their game, so I am not reading too much into it. He’s simply been too good this year to not go right back to this week at a course he’s had a ton of success at in the past.
Straka has a pair of top-five finishes across his past three trips to Harbour Town, and even led at the halfway point last season before succumbing to Scottie Scheffler on Sunday. If we take a long term view of his numbers, Straka rates out as one of the best players in this field, ranking fifth in SG: Tee-to-Green, third in SG: Ball-Striking and fourth in Total Strokes Gained over his past 36 rounds. His skillset is everything you’d look for at a course like Harbour Town, as he’s one of the most accurate drivers on the PGA TOUR, while boasting an ability to get red hot with his irons.
If Straka made the cut at the Masters last week he’d easily $9,200 or better in this spot, so we can take full advantage of his price sitting just $8,800 in an obvious bounce back spot.
Bud Cauley ($7,500)
It feels incredibly weird to be writing up a $7,500 Bud Cauley in a Signature Event in 2025, but here are. To be clear, he absolutely deserves it, as he’s playing some of the best golf of anyone on the PGA TOUR right now. Cauley has posted three consecutive top-six finishes at THE PLAYERS, Valspar and Valero. During this stretch, the 35-year-old remarkably ranks No. 2 in this field in SG: Ball-Striking and No. 1 in Total Strokes Gained.
Cauley has gained a whopping 12.6 strokes on approach alone over his past two starts, and somehow looks like a better player than he did before the horrific car accident that caused him to miss more than three years of golf back in 2018. It’s truly one of the most historic comeback stories you’ll ever come across.
As for how he’s fared at Harbour Town, Cauley has finishes of T9 and T23 in two of his four career trips to Hilton Head, but has not played here since 2020. It feels like we are just waiting for him to come back down to earth, but I truly cannot think of a reason to fade him right now at this extremely reasonable price tag, especially with the way he’s hitting the ball.
