It’ll be a clash of arguably the two best players in the American League on Monday night, as the Royals travel to meet the Yankees in the Bronx. Bobby Witt Jr. will certainly look to do some damage with Aaron Judge in the house, after finishing runner-up to the slugger in AL MVP voting in 2024.
With that in mind, here’s my top Bobby Witt Jr. player prop for this evening’s action on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Bobby Witt Jr. 3+ Total Bases (+155)
Witt’s start to the season has been a little underwhelming. Well, as underwhelming as hitting .305 with a 137 wRC+ can be. The reason for this is two-fold. First and foremost, the bar for Witt is now incredibly high after posting a 10.4 fWAR campaign in 2024. Secondly, Witt’s just been getting a little lucky.
In his 69 plate appearances, Witt owns a .366 wOBA. However, his expected wOBA is actually .419 — a figure which would place him in the 93rd percentile of the league. Witt also possesses a 97th percentile expected batting average (.339) and a 90th percentile hard hit rate (55.1%). Trust me when I say that this “slow” start is going to start normalizing very, very soon. Heck, it’ll probably start on Monday.
Witt and the rest of the Royals are in a matchup with Carlos Carrasco, who is an amazing story and was once one of the best arms in the American League. However, Carrasco’s been washed for a couple years now and he’s only starting for the Yankees due to injuries to Gerrit Cole, Luis Gil and Clarke Schmidt. In 11.2 innings across three appearances in 2025, Carrasco has pitched to a 7.71 ERA and he’s allowed four home runs. Specifically to RHBs like Witt, the veteran right-hander has surrendered a .389 average and an eye-popping .889 slugging percentage. That’s far from ideal, unless you’re holding a Witt ticket.
