The NASCAR Cup Series Food City 500 at Bristol is on Sunday and DraftKings is offering a new way to play fantasy NASCAR. The game is simple. Build a “Pick Set” (2+ drivers) and decide if they will outperform their stat projections. Kyle Larson: Fastest Laps – 34.5

This is a 500-lap race. Larson doesn’t even need to lead 10% of the laps. He scored nearly 200 DKFP in the 2024 Bristol Night Race. That race was much different from the 2024 spring race. The track was a tire-chewing monster in the spring. It’s back to biting. The change doesn’t affect Larson any more than any other driver.
There are a lot of unknowns on Sunday. Stick to the knowns. Bristol is one of Larson’s best tracks. He nearly won the Truck Series race on Friday (Stage 3 penalty) and dominated the Xfinity Series race. He has a great starting position (third). One last thought that should not be overlooked: Larson’s mentor, Jon Edwards, passed away this week. Larson wants to dominate.
Joey Logano: Fantasy Points – 55.5
Pick6 Play: Less
Logano is starting “shotgun the field.” He will roll off 38th. With a top-15 finish and the handful of fast laps that every driver earns, Logano will leap over that number. But why is Logano an assumed top-15 driver on Sunday? He has not earned a top-20 finish in the Gen-7 car at Bristol. He’s barely a top-15 driver this season. Even if he were a top-10 driver, he has to drive through the field at a volatile track in volatile conditions. Logano could get trapped a lap down early. In the past, a top-15 was assumed. Those assumptions must be put away. The Gen-7 car has created an era of parity. Logano doesn’t default to a top-15 finish.

In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
Sweat Your Picks
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
