All 30 NBA teams are set to face off on Sunday to conclude the regular season. The New York Knicks may be getting a head start on resting up for the playoffs with Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns headlining the list of players listed as questionable. In addition, Josh Hart and OG Anunoby are also listed as questionable with it fair to assume the Knicks will rest at least some of these notable names as they face the Brooklyn Nets.

New York is locked into the third seed in the Eastern Conference and will enter the regular-season finale with a 50-31 record. It is worth noting that Brunson made his return from a 15-game absence this week and has played exactly 65 games this season. He will be eligible for postseason awards and All-NBA teams as a result. Towns also missed the previous game due to a knee issue and New York would be wise to be cautious in its approach.

Looking ahead, the Detroit Pistons have locked up the sixth seed and will be the opening-round opponent for the Knicks. Detroit’s young roster became the first team in NBA history to triple last season’s win total and it holds a 44-27 record on the season. The Knicks are considered -425 favorites for this playoff series on DraftKings Sportsbook while the Pistons hold +330 odds of pulling off the upset.

Keep a close eye on the injury report leading up to each tip-off tomorrow as plenty of teams have their postseason outlook already set in stone and will take different mindsets in how they approach the final game.
