Tonight’s UFC 314 card is headlined by Alexander “The Great” Volkanovski vs. Diego Lopes, but the great action doesn’t stop there. The co-main event features a fight of the night candidate as “Iron” Michael Chandler takes on Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett.

Let’s look at how the public is betting on this fight between Chandler and Pimblett.

Betting Spilts

Since it was announced, the odds have shifted between Chandler and Pimblett in this contest. Pimblett is the favorite at -162 on DraftKings Sportsbook, while Chandler is a +136 underdog. The public loves Pimblett in this fight as he gets 63 percent of the bets and 57 percent of the handle bet on him. Pimblett is the third most bet-on fighter at UFC 314 behind Jean Silva (69%) and Yair Rodriguez (70%).

Chandler only gets 43 percent of the handle with 37 percent of the bets. He has shown potential throughout his four years in the UFC, but has failed to put it all together. Chandler is 2-4 in the UFC and needs a victory to turn his career around.

Pimblett is 6-0 in the UFC, and his latest two victories include former interim champion Tony Ferguson and King Green. With two fighters accustomed to finishing contests early, it is -400 for this bout not to go the distance. Even though Pimblett is facing his toughest opponent to date, the public is still on his side against Chandler at UFC 314.
