Saturday is another solid split slate of MLB DFS action on DraftKings with five games on the main afternoon slate and six games on the evening slate. In this post, we’ll focus on the 12 teams scheduled to be in action under the lights. The later slate begins at 6:40 p.m. ET with the first pitch in Cincinnati between the Pirates and the Reds, and it includes several strong options for targets and values for this Saturday night.
The slate includes a pair of matchups from the AL West and three NL West teams hosting games later in the evening. Let’s dive into this 12-team player pool and take a look at my top MLB DFS picks for Saturday night’s slate.

PITCHER
Stud
Bryan Woo, Seattle Mariners vs. Texas Rangers, $9,200: Saturday’s starting pitchers aren’t a strong group as a whole, but Woo does stand out as an option that brings good upside, especially since he’s at home for this start against Texas. In his one home start this season, he had 22.5 fantasy points in six strong innings against the Athletics. He went six innings in his second start of the season as well, giving up four runs in San Francisco and finishing with just 13.9 fantasy points. In his 12 innings, he has 11 strikeouts and just three walks.
The 25-year-old righty was much better at home than on the road last season as well. The Rangers have hit him well in their previous meetings, but Woo picked 3 2/3 shutout innings against them the only time he faced them in Seattle. He has one of the highest ceilings of the pitchers on the board and at home, he has a relatively high floor as well.
Value
Kyle Hart, San Diego Padres vs. Colorado Rockies, $6,400: Hart is a good value play with nice upside against the Rockies. The 32-year-old lefty spent 2024 in the KBO and returned to claim a spot in the Padres’ rotation this spring. He looked solid in his season debut with two runs allowed in five innings at home against the Guardians. He picked up the win and earned 15.7 fantasy points in that outing. His last outing was a huge step backward, though, since he gave up five runs in just 2/3 of an inning at Wrigley Field. He issued four walks and left the first inning with the bases loaded in that disappointing outing.
He’s in a good spot to bounce back, however, against the Rockies, who have the highest K% in the MLB this season and struck out 15 times in the series opener on Friday while being held scoreless on just three hits. On the road, Colorado is hitting just .189 as a team with an MLB-low .236 road wOBA. Hart couldn’t ask for a better bounceback spot, and he should be able to get back on track enough to be a strong MLB DFS play at this rock-bottom salary.
INFIELD
Stud
Jose Altuve, Houston Astros vs. Los Angeles Angels, $5,200: Altuve has gotten most of his attention this season for his move to the outfield, but the change in position hasn’t impacted how productive he has been at the plate. He is 19-for-56 (.339) with three home runs, six doubles and a .385 wOBA. Altuve has also added three stolen bases to average 10.2 fantasy points per game.
Oddly, all 60 of his plate appearances this season have come against right-handed pitchers, but that will change on Saturday when he faces Tyler Anderson ($7,000) and the Angels. Altuve is 9-for-25 (.360) with a double and a home run in their past meetings and he teed off on southpaws last year with a .370 batting average and .418 wOBA in the split.

Geraldo Perdomo, Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Milwaukee Brewers, $4,300: With Ketel Marte (hamstring) out, Perdomo has moved to the top part of the Dbacks’ batting order. He is 16-for-48 (.333) on the season with two home runs, two stolen bases and a .386 wOBA. He has been hitting in the top two with Corbin Carroll ($5,900) and will remain a good midrange target as long as he holds such a premium lineup place. On Saturday, he and the Dbacks face righty Chad Patrick ($6,900) and the Brew Crew.
Value
Kyle Farmer, Colorado Rockies at San Diego Padres, $2,400: While the Rockies have been struggling at the plate, Farmer has been one of the few bright spots. On Friday, he went 3-for-4 with two doubles while the rest of his team went 0-for-27 in their shutout loss to Nick Pivetta and the Padres. Farmer has been solid all season, hitting .351 (13-for-37) with a .382 wOBA, five doubles and three walks, and he recently moved up the batting order, hitting third and second in his last two games.
In his career, Farmer has always hit lefties well, posting a .287 batting average, .352 wOBA and 122 wRC+ in the split. In his matchup against Hart, he’ll be a good cheap way to fill either middle infield spot while still leaving plenty of salary to pay up for big MLB DFS bats in other roster spots.
OUTFIELD

Fernando Tatis Jr., San Diego Padres vs. Colorado Rockies, $6,000: Tatis tweaked his surgically repaired shoulder earlier this week, but the issue turned out to be minor and he missed just one game before returning after the team’s Thursday off-day to hit leadoff on Friday night against the Rockies.
Tatis looked 100% while going 2-for-4 with a home run and a stolen base on his way to 24 fantasy points. He has at least eight fantasy points in each of his last three complete games and in seven of his last nine. Tatis is averaging 12.4 fantasy points per game by hitting a blistering .375 (14-for-48) with a 52.3% hard-hit rate, a .447 wOBA and a .208 ISO. He has three homers and six stolen bases, giving him multiple ways to contribute a big total in any given matchup.

Brenton Doyle, Colorado Rockies at San Diego Padres, $4,200: Doyle got Friday night off but should be back in the order on Saturday against Hart. Doyle has been hitting leadoff this season, but while he was out, Zac Veen ($2,200) went 0-for-4 with four strikeouts. Doyle will likely slot back into the leadoff spot as he looks to extend his seven-game hitting streak.
On Thursday, Doyle went 4-for-5 with a double, a home run and 32 fantasy points. He homered and had 20+ fantasy points in three of his last four games during that successful stretch and is hitting .364 with a .477 wOBA over that seven-game hitting streak. He is 5-for-10 this season against southpaws and is a nice mini-stack with Farmer even though the rest of the Rockies’ order has not been productive this season.
Value
Blake Dunn, Cincinnati Reds vs. Pittsburgh Pirates, $2,500: Dunn has hit second in the Reds’ batting order in his last three games and has been filling that premium spot while Matt McLain (hamstring) is on the injured list. Dunn is only hitting .182 on the season, but he has averaged 10.75 fantasy points per game over his last four games, going 3-for-12 (.250) with three runs scored, three walks, a stolen base, a double and a home run.
With lefty Andrew Heaney ($6,600) on the bump for the Pirates on Saturday, Dunn will likely hit in the top part of the order once again. He was the team’s Minor League Player of the Year for 2023, hitting .312 with 23 homers, a .426 wOBA and 54 stolen bases. However, he struggled last year, hitting .240 in Triple-A and .154 in his cameo in the majors. He looks ready to contribute more this season, and getting him for MLB DFS at this bargain rate is a great value play if he remains at the top of the order.
