After 13 seasons with three different teams, Patrick Peterson is calling it a career.
Peterson, 34, retires with three All-Pro and eight Pro-Bowl selections to his name. The former fifth-overall pick didn’t play in this past season after spending the 2023 campaign with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He spent the first nine years of his career in Arizona, where he was drafted and enjoyed the majority of his success.
A stud defensive player, Peterson is perhaps most well-known for his punt returning. As a rookie, he took the league by storm with four punt-return scores. He retires as the active leader in punt return yards and return touchdowns.
Peterson will look to find himself in Canton in the coming years. He has a strong case for a gold jacket with his elite defense and electric punt return highlights.
