MLB Prop Bets for April 11, 2025
Kyle Schwarber 2+ bases +155
This is actually an alternate line for Schwarber’s total bases, set at 0.5 at -175. This is a better matchup than his pricing suggests, which is why I’m targeting the added base. He’s facing Cardinals starter Andre Pallante, a contact pitcher. Pallante gets a lot of ground balls, but he also throws a lot of what Schwarber feasts on. His four-seam fastball and slider have accounted for 76.4% of his pitches thrown through his first two starts. Since last season, Schwarber has a .383 wOBA and a .291 ISO against the four-seam and a .358 wOBA with a .274 ISO against the slider. Pallante also appears to have been somewhat lucky in his first two starts, as indicated by his 4.67 xERA (3.86 ERA) and 5.44 FIP. I expect Schwarber to capitalize on this matchup tonight.

Mike Trout over 1.5 H/R/RBI +105
Ronel Blanco has endured a tough start to the 2025 season. He’s started two games and has only pitched 6.2 innings, allowing seven runs on eight hits with six walks and nine strikeouts. It’s early, but he’s not fooling anyone with his slider or four-seamer, as opposing hitters have a wOBA of .445 or higher on both pitches. This has me betting on Trout to go over 1.5 H/R/RBI in tonight’s game at Daikin Park (horrible name; rename it Minute Maid Park). Don’t let his .205 batting average fool you; Trout has been a bit unlucky to start the year. Despite that low number, he has an xBA of .291. This accompanies his overall .365 wOBA with an xwOBA of .414. Blanco has been struggling with his command and will have to face two patient hitters before Trout—Taylor Ward and Luis Rengifo. With RBI opportunities and a struggling pitcher, I think he will go over this number tonight.

Mitchell Parker over 16.5 outs recorded -115
Parker has thrown 6.0 and 6.1 innings in his two starts against much tougher opponents this season. Facing the Phillies and Diamondbacks, he held them to one run on nine hits with seven strikeouts. His command has been shaky in those games, but he faces the Marlins offense that simply doesn’t draw walks. In the early going, tonight’s expected lineup has a combined 6.5% walk rate against left-handed pitchers through 109 plate appearances. While Parker isn’t going to blow this offense away with overpowering stuff, he should do enough to keep this offense at bay and go deep into the game once again.
