The 2025 MLB season is finally here, and there are some great series to start the season. There are far more ways to get involved in the action than just via traditional betting. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Baseball!
MLB 4/11/25 Pick6 Plays
Here are my top Pick6 plays for the 4/11 MLB slate.
Aaron Judge More Than 0.5 Home Runs
Aaron Judge is one of the best hitters in baseball, and it has been a strong start to the 2025 season. Judge is tied for the MLB lead in home runs early on and has an OPS of 1.238. Judge is always dangerous, but particularly at the home-run-friendly confines of Yankee Stadium. Aaron Judge has gone 2/4 in each of his past two games, so he should be feeling good heading into tonight. Judge has a great career history against Robbie Ray, which should only add to his confidence levels. In his career against Ray, Judge has three home runs in eight at-bats. If Ray gives Judge a pitch to hit, he should be able to launch it over the wall.

Spencer Steer More Than 1.5 Total Bases
After a very slow start to the season, Spencer Steer has four hits in his past four games. He is starting to find his rhythm, and that should continue tonight against Bailey Falter. Falter really struggled in his last start against the Yankees, giving up seven runs in four innings. Spencer Steer also has a great career history against Falter. Steer is 7/13 with a home run and two doubles in his career against Falter. Steer should feel confident going into this matchup against Falter, and after Falter’s previous start, Steer should have the advantage. Against lefties overall, Steer has a career tOPS+ of 114. Steer should generate some power and get over 1.5 total bases in this game.

Francisco Lindor More Than 0.5 Runs
Francisco Lindor is on an eight-game hitting streak. He continues to get on base for the Mets, and with Juan Soto and Pete Alonso behind him in the lineup, Lindor has a great chance to score a run. Lindor has scored seven runs in his past seven games, making this a solid pick in any game. However, in this specific game, Lindor has an even better chance of registering a run. Lindor has a great history against JP Sears in his career. In six career at-bats against Sears, Lindor has three hits, including a home run and a double. Alonso and Soto should stay hot and drive Lindor in, especially if he registers an extra-base hit.

Jacob deGrom Less Than 1.5 Earned Runs Allowed
Jacob deGrom has been plagued by injuries over the past several seasons, but the man who was once the best pitcher in baseball is still in there. deGrom had a fantastic start to the year, throwing five shutout innings against the Red Sox in his first start. deGrom gave up a couple of home runs against the Rays his last time out, however. Jacob deGrom will now be looking for a bounce back start against the Mariners tonight. As a team, Seattle hasn’t hit the ball great this season. Seattle ranks 23rd in baseball in runs scored, 27th in batting average and 24th in slugging percentage. They have also strunk out the 10th-most of any team in the MLB. deGrom should be able to attack this lineup and keep them under 1.5 runs.

Vinnie Pasquantino More Than 0.5 RBIs
Vinnie Pasquantino is poised for a big night against Tanner Bibee. Bibee got shelled in his last start, giving up seven runs on four home runs against the Angels. The Royals’ lineup should give him problems as well, including Pasquantino. Pasquantino has dominated Bibee in his career. In ten career at-bats against Bibee, Pasquantino has seven hits. Of those seven hits, Pasquantino has a double, a triple and two home runs. That comes out to a career slugging percentage of 1.600 against Bibee. Pasquantino should rack up an extra-base hit in this game, and drive in a run in the process.

Griffin Canning More Than 4.5 Strikeouts Thrown
Griffin Canning has had a solid start to his Mets career. He has given up just three runs in 9.2 innigns of action, with a combined 10 strikeouts over those first two starts. This game is being played in Sacramento, which is no concern because Canning has been better on the road than at home in his career. Canning has a career tOPS+ of 106 on the road, compared to 95 at home. The same can be said for the Athletics, which is bad news for them. The Athletics’ lineup has a tOPS+ of 120 on the road, compared to 91 at home this year. The Athletics play in front of a mostly-empty minor league stadium, and it seems like that is deflating for them as a team, as they hit much worse at home. Canning should be able to rack up five strikeouts in this game, getting over this number.
