Best Trae Young prop bets for Hawks vs. Nets: Thursday 4/10/25

The Hawks are locked into a play-in spot, but their final three games will determine what seed they earn. The eighth, ninth and 10th seeds are still up for grabs between Atlanta, Miami and Chicago.

Atlanta has an easy matchup tonight against the Nets, who have been eliminated from postseason contention. Brooklyn is 26-53 and simply looking toward the NBA lottery to continue its rebuild.

As a result, the Hawks are 13.5-point favorites on the road, and the game total is 232.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Below, I have featured my favorite Trae Young prop bets to consider from this contest.

Trae Young over 2.5 made three-pointers (-125)

Young is the catalyst of this Hawks team, so the team will need him to step up in order to keep the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. Any slip-ups could result in finishing as the ninth or 10th seed, making the play-in more difficult.

That being said, Young has two of three games against bottom-feeders to finish the season. Up first are the Brooklyn Nets, who are eliminated from postseason contention.

There are a handful of potential plays for Young against this Brooklyn squad, but his three-pointers made line is my favorite. Young is averaging 2.8 three-pointers per game this year but his volume is still high. It’s resulted in worse efficiency compared to last year, but the drop isn’t that drastic for a major concern.

Young needs to make over 2.5 three-pointers to clear this line, so it’s important he continues to shoot a lot. He’s averaging 8.4 attempts per game this season and 8.9 over his past seven games.

Atlanta’s play-in positioning is in Young’s hands. A few dominant performances can be enough to maintain the eighth seed. Rather than rely on his teammates to step up, Young should take matters into his own hands.

He’ll do this by making over 2.5 three-pointers tonight in a high-scoring performance. Atlanta plays at the second fastest pace in the NBA, so Young should get plenty of opportunities. Although the Nets have the fourth slowest pace, the Hawks should be the team dictating the pace.
