The Golden State Warriors have emerged as one of the best stories in the NBA in the second half of the season. They were aggressive at the trade deadline and landed Jimmy Butler to successfully retool around Steph Curry and give this team a chance in the postseason. Golden State is 22-5 with Butler in the lineup and Curry has been among the biggest beneficiaries due to the load taken off his plate.
With three games remaining in the regular season, the Warriors hold a record of 47-32. This is tied with the Clippers, Grizzlies and Nuggets, with one of these teams destined to fall into the Play-In Tournament at the season’s conclusion. In addition, the Warriors are still working to get 100% on the same page with the playoffs right on the horizon. They will use tonight as another chance to continue building as they take on the San Antonio Spurs.
The Warriors are 17-point favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook for tonight’s matchup. The Spurs hold +950 odds on the Moneyline with the game total set at 233.
With the stage set, here are my favorite Steph Curry prop bets ahead of the Wednesday night thriller.

Curry’s props are listed at over/under 25.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 4.5 made three-pointers and 36.5 combined points, rebounds and assists.
Steph Curry Under 6.5 Assists (-140)
So far this season, Steph Curry is averaging 24.4 points, 6.1 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game. He is leading the NBA in three-point makes and attempts per game, shooting 39.6% from beyond the three-point arc. Curry’s all-time great shooting overshadows his ability as a passer at times but tonight is not a matchup this should be expected to be put on full display.
While he is averaging 6.1 assists per game, Curry has only recorded over 6.5 assists in 27 of the 67 games he has played this season. He has fallen short of this number in 11 of his past 15 games and averaged 5.5 assists per game across this stretch.
This game has legitimate blowout potential and could get out of hand early. While the Spurs looked to be trending toward a playoff appearance themselves this season, injuries to Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron Fox have changed things. Curry was held under 6.5 assists in both matchups against the Spurs this season, including only playing 25:48 of game time in one matchup due to it becoming a blowout. Golden State also played last night against the Suns so expect it to limit Curry’s minutes if the opportunity presents itself.
Expect this to be a bit of a race against the clock for Curry to reach these numbers. This game feels destined to slip into blowout territory once the Warriors hit their stride and Curry has struggled to reach this number of assists even while receiving a full workload. Count on him being held to under 6.5 assists for the 41st time this season tonight.
Steph Curry to Record the Most Points (-145)
While the concern for a blowout makes this a bit of a risk, someone has to lead this game in scoring and Curry still feels like the most likely nominee. With Wembanyama and Fox sidelined, Devin Vassell is the Spurs’ leading scorer at 16.3 points per game on the season and 18.1 points per game since the two stars were sidelined. Stephon Castle has also taken on a more aggressive offensive role and seen his scoring numbers increase to 19.1 points per game since the injuries.
Looking at the Warriors, there is also no clear option for a leading scorer outside of the team’s superstar. Jimmy Butler is averaging 16.9 points per game with the team, Jonathan Kuminga is adding 15.5 points per game and Brandin Podziemski is producing 11.7 points per game as the next leading scorers.
Looking at the DraftKings Sportsbook lines, Curry’s point prop is set at 25.5 points. No other player has a prop line set above 20, with Castle the next closest with his over/under set at 18.5.
Expect a focused effort from Curry and the Warriors in the opening minutes where they run their sets and generate offensive looks for their superstar. Even if he see his minutes limited, there should still be enough time to produce the most points in the game. With this matchup a bit starved for high-level scorers, expect Curry to rise to the top and lead this game in scoring as has become commonplace throughout his career. Getting -145 odds is a solid value for this and makes me more comfortable than directly betting on him to reach his scoring prop.
