This will be the first time this season that the two tours will come together and all of the best players in the world will be in the same field. Scottie Scheffler has won two of the past three Masters and he will be the man to beat once again.

The Masters is the most bet-on golf event of the year. This year, the most bet-on player to win the event is Rory McIlroy. McIlroy needs to win The Masters to complete the career grand slam. He has always come up short at The Masters, but he has never been in better form than he is this year. The public is ignoring McIlroy’s past failures at The Masters and instead betting based on his current form as the best golfer in the world. After McIlroy, it is Collin Morikawa receiving the second-biggest share of the handle. Despite getting just 8% of the bets, he is getting 11% of the handle, meaning bigger bets are coming in on Morikawa. Morikawa is also in great form this season and has performed well at Augusta in the past.
The first LIV player on the list is Bryson DeChambeau. The 2024 U.S. Open champion is one of the most polarizing players in golf but proved last season that he is one of the best players in the world. The public thinks that DeChambeau can come in from the LIV Tour and take down the world’s best to win his first green jacket.
The next player on the list is Scottie Scheffler. The world’s #1 player has won two of the past three Masters Tournaments, but is only the fourth most bet-on player. That is due to two different factors. First, Scheffler is still the heavy favorite and at odds of +400, many bettors think he is overvalued in the market. Also, Scheffler had surgery on his hand earlier this year, and he has not been at his best since returning from surgery. Scheffler is still the favorite, and if he’s at his best, he’s almost unbeatable. However, at this price, many bettors are reluctant to bet on him with his current form.

Straka is 75/1 to win The Masters, but he is the second most bet-on player to finish inside the top 20.
