Philadelphia’s superstar has never faced Holmes, but the starter profiles as someone he can take advantage of. This season, Atlanta’s right-hander has thrown a fastball on 43% of his pitches and a slider 24% of the time. In 2024, Harper recorded batting averages of .319 and .316 against both pitch types, respectively.
In a bet that relies on counting stats, it helps to be supported by an elite lineup. The Phillies have averaged 5.0 runs per game this season, seventh-most in all of baseball. Surprisingly, that number has risen to 6.0 on the road. For his career, Harper is slugging .527 over 54 outings at Truist Park.
