UPDATE: Adebayo has now been ruled out for tonight’s game.

With the NCAA Tournament wrapping up on Monday night, the NBA slate is a small one with just two games on the schedule. Regardless of what else is going on across the hoops landscape, there’s still betting options aplenty on DraftKings Sportsbook for tonight’s matchup between the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers at 7:30 p.m. EST.

As the Heat fight to climb higher in the Play-In Tournament picture, here’s the best Bam Adebayo prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for tonight’s contest.

Best Bam Adebayo prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Adebayo’s prop lines on DraftKings Sportsbook are set at 21.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists. His combined PTS + REB + AST line is currently 35.5.

The Heat come into the contest as 13-point favorites with -800 odds to win on the Moneyline. The overall game total sits at a low 213. The opposing 76ers have struggled with an immense number of injuries to their rotation players, and since the All-Star break, they rank dead-last in defensive rating at 122.9. They’re also giving up the fourth-most paint points to opponents at 54.0 per game, which could be attractive for Adebayo’s potential in this contest.

Adebayo has enjoyed an uptick in scoring production ever since Jimmy Butler was dealt to the Warriors in February. Since the All-Star break, Adebayo averages 20.6 PPG, up from his average of 16.7 PPG before the break. While this increase is encouraging and he’s gone over his 21.5-point line in three of his last four games, I’m actually going the other direction for tonight’s betting card.

Why’s that? It’s worth noting Adebayo has been downgraded to questionable tonight due to a back issue. Usually this wouldn’t be a huge deal, but against a poor team such as the Sixers, the likelihood the big man either heads to the bench early or sits out entirely is certainly high. While the matchup is a tasty one for the Heat offense, they won’t need Adebayo in the lineup to win. I’d rather back the under at -110 odds and bank on him seeing limited time on the court tonight.
