Tyler Herro Injury Update: Monday 4/7/25 vs. the 76ers

Updated:

Herro (thigh) missed Saturday’s loss to the Bucks and the guard has been listed as questionable for Monday’s matchup with the 76ers. Andrew Wiggins (hamstring), Alec Burks (back) and Haywood Highsmith (Achilles) are also questionable. Wiggins has notably missed five games in a row.

The Heat are the No.10 seed in the Eastern Conference, but they still have a chance to finish as high as the No.8 seed, so every game is important for Miami right now. Given the circumstances, Herro should put his best effort forward to play, but after missing Saturday’s contest, it is unclear if he will be able to.

Herro is having the best season of his career, averaging 23.9 points, 5.6 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game. The Kentucky product was named to his first All-Star team and he is leading the Heat with a 27.9% usage rate.

If Herro is out again, Duncan Robinson could earn his second start in a row. Also, Bam Adebayo would handle a larger role if Herro was sidelined, especially if Wiggins was also out. With Herro and Wiggins inactive for Saturday’s overtime loss to the Bucks, Adeabyo went off for 31 points, 12 rebounds and five assists (61.5 FPTS).

The Heat are 0-4 with Herro inactive this season, but Miami should still be favorited over the tanking 76ers once lines for this game are released on DraftKings Sportsbook. Philadelphia has lost 11 games in a row, which is easily the longest active losing streak in the NBA.
