After being a game-time decision on Saturday for the early game against the Hawks, Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson will make his return from injury on Sunday after missing 15 contests with an ankle injury, according to NBA Insider Chris Haynes.

Brunson is averaging 26.3 points, a career-best 7.4 assists, and 3.0 rebounds in 35.4 minutes per game across 61 appearances this season. He had only missed one game all year before rolling his ankle against the Lakers on March 6.
If he returns on Sunday, the Knicks will get Brunson back in the lineup with five games remaining on their schedule before the playoffs. It should be a good chance for him to ramp up with games every other day and just one back-to-back on Thursday and Friday.
The Knicks currently sit No. 3 in the Eastern Conference and do not have a chance to move up in the standings. The Pacers are 1.5 games behind them in the race for the middle seeds. The Pistons and Bucks look to be awaiting the Knicks and Pacers, although the exact seeding order and playoff opponents are still to be determined.
More important than who they play is the fact that the Knicks get Brunson back fully healthy and ready to go for what they hope will be a deep playoff run. You can back the Knicks on their playoff run in the NBA Futures Market on DraftKings Sportsbook.
