UPDATE: Porzingis did not sub back into the fourth quarter of Friday night’s contest. The Celtics went on to win in a dominant 123-103 showing.
Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis is officially designated questionable to return to Friday’s game due to a face injury.
At the start of the fourth quarter against the Phoenix Suns, Porzingis took an elbow to the face from Cody Martin. The bridge of the big man’s nose was left bloodied and he headed to the locker room shortly after. According to the Celtics, the laceration required stitches.

Porzingis was given the questionable designation several minutes later. With the Celtics up nearly 20 points in a blowout, it would be surprising to see him return on Friday.
At the time he exited the game, Porzingis had tallied 15 points and four rebounds in 23 minutes of action.
