Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler Injury Updates: 4/4/25 vs. the Nuggets

After a monstrous performance against the Lakers last night, Stephen Curry is questionable to play the second leg of a back-to-back against the Nuggets tonight. Jimmy Butler is also listed as questionable.

Curry is dealing with a pelvic injury, while Butler has a forearm injury. Both played last night, but could sit tonight’s critical Western Conference tilt. Gary Payton II joins the two stars with a questionable tag as he’s dealing with a thumb issue.

If Curry, Butler and Payton are all out, Brandin Podziemski and Jonathan Kuminga will receive increased roles. They’ll be looked upon to lead the offense against a challenging Nuggets team fighting for playoff positioning.

There isn’t much wiggle room in the Western Conference. The Nuggets are in third place, just a half game ahead of the Lakers and 1.5 games ahead of the Warriors in fifth. Golden State is also just a half game ahead of the Grizzlies and Timberwolves in sixth and seventh and one game ahead of the eighth place Clippers. All games are even more significant as the standings can abruptly shift on a night’s notice.
