The Thunder are hosting the Pistons on Wednesday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Oklahoma City is favored by 13.5 points and this game carries a total of 232 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite Shai Gilgeous-Alexander prop bet to consider from this contest.

Best Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Under 33.5 Points (-125)

While Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads the NBA in scoring this season, this 33.5-point line is simply too high for the guard. First off, the Thunder will have their big three of Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren available tonight. This trio has played 22 games together this season and, in those contests, Gilgeous-Alexander’s usage decreases 6.0 percentage points and he is scoring 28.9 PPG, which is well under his 32.8 average for the season.

Plus, Gilgeous-Alexander is in a tough spot vs. the Pistons. Detroit ranks sixth in defensive rating since the All-Star break and their defense will likely be even stronger than usual, as Cade Cunningham (calf) is doubtful. While the guard has been tremendous on offense this season, the Pistons’ defense has been nearly one point better with Cunningham off the floor.

Lastly, with the Thunder being a 13.5-point home favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook, there is a real chance of a blowout tonight and Gilgeous-Alexander would certainly see limited work in that scenario, especially with only seven games remaining in the regular season. In this situation, Gilgeous-Alexander is a sharp bet for under 33.5 points.
