The Golden State Warriors have won two straight games and are in Memphis tonight to play the Grizzlies at 8:00 p.m. ET. The Warriors are 2-1 against the Grizzlies this season but are currently 0.5 behind Memphis in the Western Conference standings.
After missing time, Stephen Curry has not looked like himself recently. He has scored under 24 points in four straight games. Curry averaged 30 points per game in February but regressed again in March. He averaged 23.8 points per contest in March. Here is my favorite prop bet for Curry against the Grizzlies tonight.
Stephen Curry over 24.5 points (-110)
Curry began March on an excellent scoring stretch. He totaled 28-plus points in four of his first five games in March before hitting a lull. Even the top superstars in the NBA go through tough times on the court, but Curry has proven countless times throughout his career that he can bounce back. On DraftKings Sportsbook, you can back Curry to score more than 24.5 points at -110.
In Curry’s previous 25 games, he has hit this scoring mark 13 times. Curry has scored at least 25 points against the Grizzlies in eight of their last 13 matchups. A big part of his recent struggles has been volume on offense and minutes played. Curry has only played 25 and 26 minutes in two of his last three games, in which he attempted eight and 10 field goals. When Curry is playing 30-plus minutes and taking 18-22 field goals a night, he is at his best.
Playing the Grizzlies has brought the best out of Curry in the past. The Grizzlies allow 117.1 points per game to opponents, the sixth most in the NBA. This will be Curry’s third game since returning, and his workload should continue to increase each game. Even at 37 years old, Curry has proved he still has that elite scoring touch, and when he gets hot, he is unstoppable.
