While Reid and DiVincenzo come off the bench, they aren’t your normal reserves, as they both play big minutes and garner high usage rates. Their absences are going to force Minnesota’s starters to play larger roles than usual in this important tilt, especially Anthony Edwards.
The Timberwolves have played one game without both Reid and DiVincenzo this season and, in that contest, Edwards posted 33 points, seven rebounds and five assists vs. the Suns. Edwards also led the team with 39.5 minutes and a massive 36.9% usage rate.
