The Los Angeles Lakers are 45-29 as they fight to climb higher in the Western Conference standings ahead of the looming NBA Playoffs. Tonight, LeBron James and Luka Doncic go toe-to-toe with a young Houston Rockets squad which has turned heads as they ascend to potential contender status.

For now, I’m talking about the man on the Lakers — here’s the top LeBron James prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for tonight ahead of the 10 p.m. EST tip-off.

Best LeBron James prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

DraftKings Sportsbook lists LeBron’s prop lines for this contest at 23.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and 1.5 three-pointers made. His PTS + REB + AST O/U sits at 38.5.

The Lakers are favored to emerge victorious tonight as -3.5 favorites at -170 on the Moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total sits at 225, as well. Winning won’t be an easy task by any means, though, as the Rockets fall top-six in both defensive rating and opponent points per game allowed.

There’s a couple of prop options to consider for tonight’s action, the first of which comes in the assists market. James is one of the best playmakers in the league and is able to carve up defenses unlike most other players. He’s gone over 6.5 assists in 48 of his 63 games this season, and even though Doncic is also a ball-dominant talent, I’m taking James to go over this assist line again tonight. The value isn’t much to write home about here, but this is such a reliable bet that I’m willing to take it anyways at -145 odds.

The other top prop I’m checking out tonight is in the rebounds market. The Rockets pull down over 50 boards per game, more than any other team in the NBA. Their roster is constructed in a way that buys them extra possessions, especially on the offensive glass. With that in mind, I’m actually taking LeBron to go under 7.5 rebounds tonight against Houston. It’s a difficult matchup for the Lakers’ rebounders, so at -110 odds on the under, I’m definitely going that direction. It’s not that I doubt James’ talent, I just think the battle on the glass is one the Lakers will lose.
