UPDATE: Kuminga will not return.

Midway through the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs, Jonathan Kuminga ($5,600) drove down the right side of the lane. As he attempted to shoot a layup, Kuminga was met by two Spurs defenders, knocking him off balance in the air, resulting in a hard fall to the ground.

Kuminga slowly made his way to the locker room, and there has been no official update as to the nature of the injury.

Prior to exiting, Kuminga contributed four points and a rebound in seven minutes of action.

Golden State next plays on Tuesday in Memphis, then travels to Los Angeles to face the Lakers on Thursday.

Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
