March Madness continues on Friday with four Sweet 16 matchups on deck. To cap off tonight’s college basketball action, #1 Houston will face #4 Purdue. The Cougars have been dominant all season, culminating in a Big 12 conference title. However, the program will need to get past a high-powered Boilermakers squad to advance to the Elite 8. UH will need its star-studded back court, led by Milos Uzan, to take control in this one.

Best Milos Uzan prop bet for Friday
Houston’s quest for a first-ever national title continues against Purdue, last season’s runner-up. The Cougars will look to play their brand of slow, grind-it-out basketball. However, this group isn’t lacking in offensive firepower. Much of the credit for UH’s suddenly dangerous scoring attack needs to go towards Milos Uzan. The transfer from Oklahoma has shined during his first season in Space City, averaging 11.5 points, 4.4 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game.
The junior has recorded at least five assists in 17 of his 36 appearances this season. A near-50/50 split doesn’t scream ‘hammer’ for bettors. However, Purdue struggles to defend passes. The Boilermakers have surrendered 14.7 assists per game, the fifth-worst mark for any Big Ten school. Per KenPom, opponents have recorded an assist rate of 57.7% vs. Purdue, 53rd-worst in college basketball.
Uzan has taken on a bigger role in Houston’s offense recently; he should command enough usage to deliver on this modest total. Bettors can consider playing things safe at 5+ assists (-155). However, I’m willing to push this wager up to 6 for some plus-money action.
