Anthony Davis Injury Update: 3/27/25 vs. the Magic

UPDATE: Davis ($10,100) is available to play Thursday vs. the Magic.

Anthony Davis ($10,100) returned from an 18-game absence due to an adductor strain and played 27 minutes on Monday. He sat out the second leg of a back-to-back and is now questionable for Thursday’s contest against the Orlando Magic. Brandon Williams ($5,100) is also questionable with lower back tightness while PJ Washington ($8,200) is out due to a sprained ankle.

Davis will slot right in at power forward and will likely be limited to a tick under 30 minutes. It’s a pace-down spot, as Orlando is 27th over the last 10 games, so the game environment wasn’t going to be fantasy-friendly to begin with.

With Washington out, Naji Marshall ($7,900) will likely get the start. With all of the injuries this season, Marshall has shown that he has an offensive bag. He was garnering a 20% usage rate but, over the last two games, that number has spiked to 32.2 and 28.7%. Orlando has a ton of length, which could give Marshall some problems, but he should play a ton of minutes and get plenty of opportunities to score.

Williams has been an exciting jolt of energy backing up Spencer Dinwiddie ($6,700). If he’s unable to go, Dinwiddie could see playing time over 30 minutes while Jaden Hardy ($4,000) and Max Christie ($4,800) would likely get extended run.

Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
