Tuesday presents an eight-game slate. Just like with NFL DFS, stacking games for NBA DFS is a strategy that can really pay off. Embracing correlation with multiple players from the same game can be the key to climbing the leaderboard in GPPs.
Below, I have featured two of my favorite games to stack on Tuesday night.

Cleveland Cavaliers at Portland Trail Blazers
With Donovan Mitchell (groin) out and the Cavaliers struggling as of late – they have lost four of their last five – this should be a competitive affair throughout in Portland. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Cleveland is only a 6.5-point road favorite over the Trail Blazers and this game carries a healthy total of 229 points.
Mitchell leads the Cavaliers in usage this season and with the guard absent, Darius Garland ($8,000), Evan Mobley ($8,500) and Jarrett Allen ($6,900) all see notable boosts and are great targets. All three of these starters are averaging over 40 FPTS per game with Mitchell inactive this season and Allen is the best value of the trio at his sub $7K salary. In terms of upside, Garland has the highest ceiling of the group, as he leads Cleveland with a 30.6% usage rate with Mitchell inactive, which is a 3.3 percentage point lift from his average.
Mitchell’s absence also creates many appealing cheap plays to consider. Ty Jerome ($4,400) is amassing 30 FPTS per game with Mitchell inactive this season and is one of the best values on the slate. Additionally, De’Andre Hunter ($5,000) and Max Strus ($4,500) are both excellent bargains. Since being traded to Cleveland at the deadline, Hunter has started in the two games Mitchell has missed and he is generating 36.8 FPTS in 27 minutes per game with a 24.8% usage rate as a starter. As for Strus, he has been one of the primary beneficiaries with Mitchell out this season, scoring 26.5 FPTS per game with the All-Star sidelined.
For the Trail Blazers, Deni Avdija ($7,700) has been outstanding and is the top option from the club. The forward has topped 40 FPTS in seven of his last 10 and three of these outings have been explosions of over 60 FPTS, including 62.5 FPTS against the same Cavaliers team Avdija will face tonight. Also, Anfernee Simons ($6,400), Shaedon Sharpe ($6,500) and Toumani Camara ($5,600) are all underpriced, with Simons being the best option of the group. The guard is leading Portland with a 24.9% usage rate since the All-Star break and he is scoring 35.5 FPTS per game this month. If looking for a full punt from this game, Matisse Thybulle ($3,400) is viable. The defensive specialist just made his season debut last week and already has performances of 31 and 22.75 FPTS in his first five games.
New York Knicks vs. Dallas Mavericks
On top of Jalen Brunson (ankle) remaining out, Miles McBride (groin) will be inactive tonight. McBride has been starting in place of Brunson and with him now also sidelined, the Knicks should use a very tight rotation tonight, making all their starters compelling options against this Mavericks team that ranks 25th in defensive rating since the All-Star break and that is playing their second game in two nights.
First off, Cameron Payne ($4,600) should start at point guard and is the best value on the board tonight. In the two games both Brunson and McBride have missed this season, Payne is amassing 30.9 FPTS in 32.5 minutes per game. Next, Karl-Anthony Towns ($10,000) and Mikal Bridges ($6,500) are both rating as terrific values. In those tilts Brunson and McBride missed, Towns led the way with a whopping 61 FPTS per game while Bridges produced 39.6 FPTS per game.
As for the Mavericks, they got Anthony Davis (adductor) back last night, but the big man isn’t expected to play this evening, returning Dallas to the rotation that we have seen it use for the last two months. Spencer Dinwiddie ($6,600) is in awesome form and is the best target from Dallas. Starting at point guard for the club, the veteran has scored at least 45 FPTS in three straight games and during this span, he is leading the Mavericks with a huge 45.6% assist rate and he has racked up multiple steals in every contest.
With Davis back to the sidelines, PJ Washington ($8,100) has a ceiling worth chasing in GPPs, as he had surpassed 40 FPTS in two of his three previous games before Davis’ return last night. Lastly, Kai Jones ($5,100) has been starting at center for Dallas and his salary on DraftKings has yet to adjust to this role. Jones is supplying 30 FPTS in 25.6 minutes per game in his last four and he has the potential for over 30 minutes tonight, given the Mavericks need Jones’ size to match up with Towns.
