UPDATE: Tatum is out.

UPDATE: Tatum ($11,000) went through shoot-around Wednesday and he has been upgraded from doubtful to questionable for Wednesday’s matchup with the Suns. Various clips of Tatum working out this morning have surfaced online and the superstar appears to be pain free after suffering a sprained ankle Monday vs. the Kings. If Tatum suits up, the Celtics will be at full strength aside from Xavier Tillman (knee), who hasn’t played since March 6th.
Jayson Tatum is listed as doubtful with an ankle injury for Wednesday’s matchup against the Suns. The Celtics’ star fell on Domantas Sabonis’ foot on Monday night, resulting in an injury.
It forced Tatum out of the game, and it’s likely that he is out on Wednesday, too.

There isn’t a firm timeline as when Tatum can return to the court, but Boston fans should be happy that he wasn’t immediately ruled out against the Suns. It leaves some possibility of him playing.
The Celtics are a deep team, so they can survive without Tatum as long as its not through the playoffs. Jaylen Brown will take the lead offensive role in Tatum’s absence.
