UPDATE: Giannis Antetokounmpo (foot) has been ruled out for tonight’s game vs. Denver.
Wednesday’s matchup between the Bucks and Nuggets could have been a showing of two of the top MVP candidates, but instead neither may play.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is listed as questionable with a left foot sprain. Damian Lillard has already been ruled out as he’s dealing with a right calf strain, and Bobby Portis is still serving his suspension.
As for the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic has missed the last five games and could missed Wednesday’s as well. It would rob many fans of a second Jokic vs. Antetokounmpo matchup this season. The Bucks got the win in the teams’ first matchup this year.
Without Lillard, Antetokounmpo has had an even larger role on offense, so this would be a major blow for Milwaukee if he’s out.
