Best Quentin Grimes prop bets for 76ers vs. Wizards: Wednesday 3/26/25

The 76ers and Wizards have a common goal: lose and earn a high draft pick. Both of their seasons are essentially over with the 76ers ravaged by injuries and the Wizards still amid a rebuild.

Because of Philadelphia’s numerous injuries, role players have gotten larger roles. No player has taken advantage of their increased minutes more than Quentin Grimes. The 24-year-old has been on a tear since joining the 76ers at the trade deadline.

He rested on Monday, but he will be back for the 76ers’ game on Wednesday against the Wizards. Philadelphia is favored by three points, and the game total is set at 230 points on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Below, I have featured my favorite Grimes prop bets to consider from this contest.

Best Quentin Grimes Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Quentin Grimes over 25.5 points (-120)

Grimes made a name for himself with the Knicks, but he was considered a role player at best. Although he started 66 of 71 games in his second season, he wasn’t a top three option on the team.

It wasn’t until he arrived in Philadelphia that he had the opportunity to break out. Grimes has been the top option since Joel Embiid, Paul George, Tyrese Maxey and Jared McCain are all dealing with injuries.

Grimes is averaging 22.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.6 steals per game in 20 games with the 76ers. He’s started in 17 of those games and is shooting 50 percent from the field and 38.7 percent from deep.

His recent performances have been even better than his averages. He’s averaging 28 points per game in his last 12 games, including two games of at least 40 points. These are numbers that would make fans do a double take.

It translates over to the prop bet lines. Grimes’ points line is set at 25.5, which would seem comical if fans aren’t aware of his recent outburst. It’s more than reasonable, however, and it’s likely he hits the over on the line.

Not only is Grimes playing the best basketball of his career, but he’s doing so on a team with nothing to lose. The 76ers are actively trying to lose and have been comfortable giving Grimes the green light on just about anything and everything.

It also helps that the 76ers are playing the Wizards, who are one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA. Washington allows the most points per game and plays at the fourth fastest pace in the league.

All signs point to Grimes scoring over 25.5 points in this contest. It may not be the most enticing game on the schedule, but watching Grimes torch a weak defense should put a smile on bettors’ faces.
