The Phoenix Suns are fighting to stay alive in the Western Conference playoff picture and are looking to extend their momentum when they host the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night. It’ll be meaningful for head coach Mike Budenholzer, facing his former team for the first time since his firing following a 58-win season in 2023.
Budenholzer guided the Bucks to an NBA title in 2021, ironically over the Suns, but now finds himself trying to steer Phoenix into the play-in tournament. The Suns (34-37) are tied with the Dallas Mavericks for the 10th seed in the West and have only 11 games remaining.
Phoenix is riding a 3-0 homestand heading into Monday’s matchup and most recently earned an impressive 123-112 win over the East-leading Cleveland Cavaliers. While Kevin Durant shouldered the scoring load in that one with 42 points, Devin Booker has put together some big performances recently, too.
Here is the featured Devin Booker prop bet on DraftKings Sportsbook for Monday’s matchup against the Bucks.
Best Devin Booker Prop Bet on DraftKings Sportsbook
Over 33.5 Points + Assists (-120)
Booker has averaged 25.2 points and 9.4 assists over his last five games. With Bradley Beal (hamstring) still sidelined and another high-leverage matchup on tap, Booker is expected to remain aggressive on the offensive end. Phoenix faces a Milwaukee squad playing its fifth straight road game, putting Booker in a strong position to exceed 33.5 points and assists line.
Milwaukee will once again be without Damian Lillard (calf), Bobby Portis Jr. (suspension), and Jericho Sims (thumb), putting more pressure on their defense to contain dynamic scorers like Booker without their usual backcourt support.
Phoenix needs every win it can get, and Booker has been vocal about the urgency of the stretch run.
“We see the remaining schedule, we know what we’re up against, and we’re going to have to sustain what we’re doing now,” Booker said. “There’s going to be rough parts, but still going to have to stick together and keep doing what we’re doing.”
With that mindset and Booker serving as a lead creator, expect plenty of scoring and passing opportunities against a Bucks defense that has struggled on the perimeter during this road trip.
