The Thunder are visiting the Clippers on Sunday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Oklahoma City is favored by three points and this game carries a total of 227 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite Shai Gilgeous-Alexander prop bet to consider from this contest.

Best Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander U 31.5 Points (-105)

Gilgeous-Alexander is in a tough spot Sunday, facing the Clippers on the road. This season, Los Angeles ranks fourth in defensive rating and 24th in pace. This will be the fourth time Gilgeous-Alexander has faced the Clippers this season and in the first three matchups, he finished with 25, 45 and 29 points. Kawhi Leonard wasn’t available for any of these tilts, but now is at full strength for Los Angeles. After being limited for most of the season, Leonard is logging 33.6 minutes per game in his last five and the two-time Defensive Player of the Year’s presence is a huge boost for the Clippers’ defense.

Los Angeles has won five in a row and every game is important for the Clippers right now, as they are only a half game behind the Warriors for the No.6 seed in the Western Conference. Meanwhile, the Thunder just clinched the No.1 seed in the Western Conference on Thursday, so they should start easing back Gilgeous-Alexander’s minutes soon, possibly as soon as tonight.

Also, while the Thunder remain without Jalen Williams (hip) on Sunday, Chet Holmgren is healthy and in the five starts Gilgeous-Alexander has made alongside Holmgren with Williams inactive this season, Gilgeous-Alexander is only scoring 27.6 PPG, which is well under his 32.9 PPG average for the season. While betting against Gilgeous-Alexander is never easy – he is a -900 favorite to win MVP on DraftKings Sportsbook – backing Gilgeous-Alexander for under 31.5 points is the right call Sunday.
