UPDATE: Holmgren has been ruled out.
Chet Holmgren ($7,600) has been downgraded to questionable for Sunday’s matchup vs. the Clippers with a hip strain. The Thunder just clinched the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference this past Thursday, so Holmgren sitting Sunday wouldn’t be surprising. Also for Oklahoma City, Lu Dort ($5,000, hip) is questionable and Jalen Williams (hip) will miss his sixth straight game.
Holmgren has only played in 24 games this season due to various injuries and he is averaging 15.2 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. Additionally, the big man is averaging 2.5 blocks per game.
If Holmgren is out Sunday, Kenrich Williams ($3,500) could enter the Thunder’s starting lineup. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($11,500) will also benefit from extra usage. In the 44 starts the MVP frontrunner has made without Holmgren this season, Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 34.9 PPG.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, the Thunder are a 2.5-point favorite over the Clippers.
