The second game of Saturday night’s NBATV double-header is a fun matchup between the Bucks and Kings in Sacramento. Both teams are in a playoff position with the Bucks sitting fifth in the Eastern Conference and the Kings currently No. 9 in the Western Conference. With what should be an exciting playoff atmosphere in Sacramento for the only time the Bucks are in town, let’s take a look at my top three Bucks vs. Kings player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook.
The Kings are two-point home favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook with the total set at O/U 223 points. The Kings lost to the Bulls on Thursday in their last game, while the Bucks beat the Lakers on Thursday before also getting Friday off. The Bucks listed Damian Lillard (calf) as out while Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) and Gary Trent Jr. (knee) are probable. On the Kings’ side, Domantas Sabonis (ankle) is out, but the rest of the team should be good to go.

Giannis Antetokounmpo over 2.5 Steals + Blocks (+125)
Antetokounmpo will have to carry more of the offensive workload with Lillard out, but all of his offensive numbers are inflated as a result. One way to get around that is to focus on his excellent defense. Antetokounmpo is averaging 1.3 blocks and 0.9 steals per game, but in 11 games this month, he’s stepped that up to 1.3 steals and 1.1 blocks across 33 minutes per game.
In his five games without Lillard this season, Antetokounmpo has produced 1.8 blocks and 1.6 steals in 31.1 minutes per game. He only played 29 minutes against the Lakers but still went over this line with two steals and one block.
Antetokounmpo has been over this line of defensive numbers in four straight games. He had two blocks but no steals in his first matchup against the Kings, but he has at least one steal in five straight games coming into this rematch against Sacramento.
There are lots of ways to play Antetokounmpo that make sense, including his points + rebounds at over 43.5 at -115. That’s my second-favorite play for him if you want to lean on him at the offensive end, but I love getting him at plus-money for his defense.
Gary Trent Jr. over 2.5 three-pointers (+114)
Trent has been excellent lately for the Bucks, and he has helped pick up some of the scoring slack whenever Lillard has been out this season. Overall this year, he’s averaging 10.8 points and 2.4 made three-pointers per game.
However, in the 10 games he has played without Lillard this season, he has averaged 12.5 points and 2.3 three-pointers. In the three of those games he has also been without Khris Middleton (traded) and Bobby Portis (suspended), he is averaging 14.7 points and 3.3 three-pointers. All that to say, the chances will be there for him to hit at least three three-pointers.
On Thursday, Trent splashed six three-pointers against the Lakers and has gone over this line in five of his last six games. Getting this prop at plus money is a great way to target him on Saturday with more work coming his way.
Trey Lyles 20+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (+340)
I highlighted Lyles as one of my top three NBA must-start options for DFS contests on Saturday night and love him at this alternate total for PRA (Points + Rebounds + Assists) as well. You can take the over on his over/under of 13.5 at -135, but I’m going to be more aggressive and grab this at a very attractive +340.
Lyles has played big minutes in the past two games since Sabonis’ most recent injury. He played 30 minutes against the Cavaliers on Wednesday and had 25 PRA in the Kings four-point win. He only played 24 minutes the following night against the Bulls but had 22 points and 31 PRA.
In his 57 games this season, he’s only averaging 12.3 PRA but is also only playing 18.3 minutes per game. In his last four games off the bench behind Jonas Valanciunas, he has averaged 21.6 PRA and played more minutes than Valanciunas in each of those contests.
This is definitely still a long-shot play, but he’s shown the last two games that he can step up and go over this number while helping to fill in for Sabonis.
