Despite sitting nearly 10 games above .500, the Minnesota Timberwolves remain eighth-place in the NBA’s Western Conference standings as they battle tooth and nail to avoid the Play-In Tournament.

Tonight, Anthony Edwards and his Minnesota teammates host the New Orleans Pelicans in a must-win matchup with an injury-riddled opponent. Here’s the best prop bets for the star shooting guard on DraftKings Sportsbook ahead of the 8 p.m. EST tip-off.

DraftKings Sportsbook lists Edwards’ prop lines for tonight at 27.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 3.5 three-pointers. His PTS + REB + AST O/U is 37.5.

The Timberwolves are -1220 Moneyline favorites in this game, which carries a total of 223. It’s easy to see why Minnesota is favored and Edwards’ scoring line is high — should be plenty of scoring opportunities with the Pelicans ranking dead-last in defensive rating and 15th in pace. New Orleans has battled injuries all season, and with Trey Murphy III recently shut down for the remainder of the campaign, their lineup is lacking in the star-power department outside of Zion Williamson.

While Edwards’ scoring output was inconsistent over the first half of the season, the 23-year-old has produced far more good outings than bad ones over his past 35 games. Over that sample, which began with his career-high 53-point performance on January 4, he’s gone over 27.5 points on 24 occasions. He’s also eclipsed that line in all of his last five appearances, as well as seven of his last 10 games. Given Edwards’ recent form and the soft matchup against the Pelicans tonight, over 27.5 points is a nice play to start with at -115 odds.

There’s another angle to take here with a larger payout, too. Edwards rebounding line is set at 5.5 boards with +130 odds on the over. This over has hit in 35 of 68 games this season, slightly over a 50% hit rate. The Pelicans rank 21st in rebounds, so this could be an opportunity to target the over and capitalize on the plus-odds. Bettors in certain markets can also parlay these props together before tip-off for a two-leg parlay with +264 odds.
