Luka Doncic, Los Angeles Lakers vs. Chicago Bulls ($12,600): Doncic sat out last game, as it was the second leg of a back-to-back. He should return to action for this one. While Chicago has improved defensively, posting the 12th-best defensive rating over the last 10 games, they are playing at the fourth-fastest pace and, well, it’s Luka freaking Doncic. He’s going to get his. It’s just a matter of how much. Doncic has gone for at least 50 FPTS in each of the last nine games, with six of those over 60 and a high of 71.25 FPTS. He has a 94.25 FPTS performance on the season resume, so he has the highest floor/ceiling combo on the slate.

Miles McBride, New York Knicks vs. Washington Wizards ($5,600): I like Podziemski and Huerter as well, but I’ll go with McBride because of the matchup. The Wizards are sixth in pace and 19th in defensive rating over the last 10 games. With Jalen Brunson still out with an injury, McBride is playing minutes in the mid-to-high 30s. He’s put up at least 20 FPTS in each of the last seven games, with three over 30 and a high of 41.25 FPTS. It’s worth noting McBride is questionable with a groin injury. If he’s out, then Cameron Payne is the way.

Jimmy Butler, Golden State Warriors at Atlanta Hawks ($8,500): Butler is often frustrating for fantasy because he literally stuffs the stat sheet, providing a good floor/ceiling combo, but he often defers to teammates and isn’t aggressive. Well, he’s rejuvenated in Golden State now and Stephen Curry suffered a back injury on Thursday while Butler finished with 59.75 FPTS and led the Warriors to victory. He should see an increase in usage rate with Curry likely out. The matchup is a good one, as Atlanta is third in pace and 23rd in defensive rating over the last 10 games.

Trey Lyles, Sacramento Kings vs. Milwaukee Bucks ($3,600): Lyles is versatile, as he can play both power forward and center, contributing a little something something across the statistical board. With Domantas Sabonis out with injury, Lyles has played 24 and 30 minutes over the last two games, putting up 37.5 and 31.25 FPTS. There’s a good chance he sees at least 30 minutes in this one as well.

Nikola Vucevic, Chicago Bulls at Los Angeles Lakers ($7,300): Vucevic was languishing in the 20-minute range for a bit after returning from injury. Over the last three games, though, he’s received 31, 30, and 32 minutes, finishing with 34.5, 42, and 57 FPTS. The Lakers do not have an imposing defensive presence at center, so Vucevic should be able to get busy in this one.

Quinten Post, Golden State Warriors at Atlanta Hawks ($3,600): Post isn’t going to play 30 minutes, but he’s received 22 and 23 over the last two games, putting up 26 and 27.5 FPTS. His ability to space the floor at 7-foot, 238 pounds has been extremely valuable. This game should have plenty of opportunities for fantasy goodies and his offensive prowess will likely be needed with Curry unlikely to play.
