UPDATE: Curry will not return.

Late in the third quarter of Thursday’s game against the Toronto Raptors, Stephen Curry ($9,200) drove down the lane and delivered a jump pass to a teammate. Unfortunately, he had a mid-air collision with a Raptors’ defender and landed hard on his tailbone. He was able to limp to the sideline but is now in the locker room.

Prior to exiting, Curry contributed 17 points, two rebounds, one assist and one block in 25 minutes. Brandin Podziemski ($5,700) was the direct substitute.

Jimmy Butler ($8,200) should see an increase in usage rate along with Podziemski.

The Warriors start a six-game road trip that begins on Saturday in Atlanta. The next game is in Miami on Tuesday.

Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
