The first day of March Madness has arrived! Sixteen first-round matchups are on Thursday’s schedule, with all the action beginning with No. 9 Creighton taking on No. 8 Louisville at 12:15 p.m. ET and ending with No. 3 Texas Tech vs. No. 14 UNC Wilmington at 10:10 p.m. ET. Hunter Dickinson 10+ Rebounds (-145)
Although Kansas has struggled this season, Hunter Dickinson has been a consistent force on the team. He is averaging 17.6 points and 10 boards per contest. Although he has been a scoring machine this year, let’s dive into his elite rebounding ability. Dickinson has totaled 10 or more rebounds in four straight games and seven of the last eight.
You can get Dickinson to total 10 or more boards against Arkansas at -145 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Dickinson has hit this rebounding mark three times in his previous four NCAA tournament games.
Zakai Zeigler 16+ Points (-105)
Zeigler only averages 13.8 points per contest this season but has scored 19-plus points in three straight games. He has improved his consistency as a scorer throughout the last two months of the season. Zeigler has scored at least 16 points in 12 of the previous 18 contests.
Getting his over in points at -105 is a good value play since he has been essential for the Volunteers’ success. A big part of his offensive game recently has been getting to the free-throw line. Zeigler has attempted nine or more foul shots in four of the past six games.
Zuby Ejofor 16+ Points (-115)
Ejiofor, the former Kansas Jayhawk, has had an unbelievable breakthrough season. He is averaging 14.6 points, eight rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.4 blocks per contest while shooting 57.8 percent from the field, which is a big increase from last season.
He scored 33 and 20 points in his last two games, the most he has totaled in back-to-back games this season. If Ejiofor continues to elevate his game, the sky is the limit for the St. John’s Red Storm this season. He has hit this scoring mark 15 times this year. If he attempts at least nine field goals against Omaha, he will be in a good position to total more than 16 points.
