UPDATE: Lillard has been ruled out.

After initially being listed as probable with a groin injury, Damian Lillard ($8,500) has been downgraded to questionable with a calf injury. Given he is apparently dealing with two different ailments, Lillard certainly is trending towards being ruled out.

In 58 games this season, Lillard is averaging 24.9 points, 7.1 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game with a 27.6% usage rate. Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,700) is already leading the NBA with a 36.2% usage rate this season, but if Lillard is out, that number will grow even further. In the 10 starts Antetokounmpo has made without Lillard this season, his usage has increased to 40.1% and he is averaging 31.0 PPG. With Luka Doncic, LeBron James and Austin Reaves all out Thursday for Los Angeles, Antetokounmpo will rightfully so be a very chalky DFS option for Thursday’s five-game slate if Lillard sits. Also, Brook Lopez ($5,500), Kyle Kuzma ($5,400) and Gary Trent Jr. ($3,500) all will see increased workloads and be appealing for DFS targets if Lillard is sidelined.
The Bucks are 6-4 with Damian Lillard inactive this season and they are 7.5-point favorite over Los Angeles on DraftKings Sportsbook.
