March Madness—as a collective cultural event—can take a deep breath. Cooper Flagg—aka The Maine Event; aka 2025 March Madness’s poster boy—will indeed be in the starting lineup for the Duke Blue Devils in their first-round game against the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers. Flagg suffered an injury in the quarterfinal round of the ACC tournament going up for a rebound. With a vert as impressive as his, coming down awkwardly on an ankle can be absolutely devastating. Luckily for the Blue Devils—and for brackets everywhere—Flagg avoided a major injury and will be all-systems-go for the tournament. Predictions for first-round upsets and bracket busters in Duke’s branch—watch out.
We’ll be covering Flagg’s props with leans and picks in the coming days, but let’s take a look at how his market looks currently for tomorrow’s first-round game between Duke and Mount St. Mary’s.
Also, keep an eye—I’ll be pumping out these predictions for individual games each round, with plenty of coverage here on DraftKings Network. Follow my handle @dansby_edits for more to-the-minute, point-of-need analyses and plays throughout conference tournament week.
