It’s a rematch of the 2019 NBA Finals, except both teams look very different. The Raptors are tanking, while the Warriors are fighting to stay out of the play-in tournament.
While the rosters have changed, Stephen Curry remains the focal point of Golden State’s offense. He just turned 37 and surpassed 4,000 career three-pointers. His averages have dipped with age, but he remains one of the best point guards in the NBA.
He’ll get a relatively easy matchup against the Raptors tonight at home. The Warriors are 14.5-point favorites and the game total is set at 224.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Below, I have featured my favorite Curry prop bets to consider from this contest.
Best Stephen Curry Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Stephen Curry over 4.5 made three-pointers (-115)
Even at age 37, Curry remains one of the few NBA players comfortably able to knock down five three-pointers per game. He’s averaging 4.4 made three-pointers on 11.2 attempts per game, both of which lead the NBA.
Curry also led the league in these categories last year. It’s the first two times in his career that he’s done this.
The Raptors are a middle-of-the-pack team in terms of opposing teams’ made and attempted threes per game. Additionally, they will be without a handful of players tonight. RJ Barrett, Gradey Dick, Brandon Ingram and Ja’Kobe Walter are all out.
An already weak team will be even weaker tonight, which makes this an easy game for Curry. The 11-time All-Star sat on Tuesday against the Bucks, so he should be fresh to go for at least 30 minutes tonight.
Curry has made five or more three-pointers in four of nine games since the beginning of March. He’s shot at least nine threes in eight of those nine games. The volume is there, it’s just a matter if Curry drains them.
No matter how he shot last game, it’s never wise to bet against the three-point king.
