The March Madness Round of 64 tips off on Thursday and one of the first games of the day is between Wisconsin and Montana. It is a 1:30 pm ET tip-off between the two teams and it should be an exciting game. There are plenty of ways to bet on the game at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Wisconsin vs. Montana Best Bets

Wisconsin is playing great basketball heading into the NCAA Tournament. It finished tied for fourth in the Big Ten regular-season standings but went on a run to the Big Ten Championship Game, defeating top-seeded Michigan State along the way. Wisconsin couldn’t quite pull out the victory against Michigan in the title game but the Badgers should be feeling great about themselves heading into March Madness. They earned a 3-seed and will face the 14-seeded Montana Grizzlies.

Montana dominated its way through the Big Sky Tournament to earn its bid to March Madness. The Grizzlies are an exciting team to watch because they can catch fire at any moment. They are 250th in the nation in defensive rating but 98th in offensive rating. They play a lot of high-scoring games and have four guards who all average at least 11 points per game. They play small ball and are fully comfortable getting into a shootout with their opponent.

If this game does become an offensive battle, that works well for Wisconsin. Their guard duo of John Tonje and John Blackwell averages a combined 34.7 points per game and can score in bunches. Wisconsin ranks 13th in the country in offensive rating and with those guards, it will be able to push the ball and attack Montana. The Grizzlies rank 237th in the country in points allowed per game and Wisconsin’s great offense should be efficient in this game.

My favorite bet for this matchup is for the Badgers to go over their team total of 84.5 points. They just cleared this number against UCLA in the Big Ten Tournament, and they cleared this number in five of their first six games of the season when playing non-conference games. The Badgers are capable of scoring in bunches and they should run up the score against the Grizzlies.

Best Bet: Wisconsin Team Total o84.5 (-120)
