Pacers -10.5 (-108)
The Pacers are on a solid run and facing a Mavericks squad plagued by injuries. Tyrese Haliburton has been instrumental for the Pacers, averaging 19.4 points and 12.4 assists over the last five games. Bennedict Mathurin and Obi Toppin have stepped up, with Toppin recently scoring a season-high 34 points and adding 10 rebounds in their win over Minnesota.
Dallas, meanwhile, is missing many key contributors, including Kyrie Irving, who is out due to a torn ACL. P.J. Washington has been a bright spot for the Mavericks. Still, Irving’s loss and other key injuries, including Anthony Davis, Dereck Lively II, and Daniel Gafford, leave Dallas with a depleted lineup. Given Indiana’s strong home record and depth, they should be able to cover the 10.5-point spread and continue their push for a high playoff seed.
Rockets -2.5 (-108)
The Rockets are riding high, coming off a thrilling 144-137 overtime win against the 76ers. Jalen Green led the charge with 30 points and 13 assists, while Jabari Smith Jr. also contributed 30 points, helping Houston make a historic comeback after trailing by 25 points. Alperen Sengun’s 13 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists added balance to the offense, while Dillon Brooks and Tari Eason chipped in with 25 and 21 points, respectively.
Orlando, while improving, is dealing with injuries and came up short in their recent loss to the Nuggets. The Magic will look to Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero to provide scoring and leadership, but the absence of Jalen Suggs and other bench inconsistencies have limited their options. Houston’s momentum and overall balance should be enough to cover the 2.5-point spread in Orlando.
Cavaliers -5 (-108)
The Cavaliers are eager to bounce back after a rare loss to the Clippers. Donovan Mitchell, the team’s top scorer, will look to regain his form after a tough shooting night against the Clippers. The Cavaliers are one of the top teams in the NBA, with an unselfish, balanced offense and one of the best defenses in the NBA.
Sacramento has struggled defensively, especially in their 122-106 loss to the Suns. Domantas Sabonis, despite his strong play since returning from injury, has seen his efforts undone by the Kings’ defensive lapses. Cleveland’s defensive execution should stifle the Kings’ offense, help the Cavaliers cover the 5-point spread, and continue their pursuit of the top playoff spots.
Suns -6 (-112)
The Suns are looking to extend their dominant play at home after a 129-89 win over the Raptors. Devin Booker and Kevin Durant continue to carry the team, with Booker scoring 27 points in the win over Toronto. Durant has been his usual high-scoring self, contributing 26.4 points per game, and his experience will be crucial as the Suns look to solidify their playoff positioning.
Although playing well recently, Chicago will be without Josh Giddey, and its defense has been inconsistent. Coby White has been a potent offensive force, but Chicago has struggled to match up with top-tier scorers like Booker and Durant. The Bulls have been unable to overcome their defensive issues against teams like Phoenix. The Suns should be able to cover the 6-point spread at home and continue their playoff push.
Grizzlies -5 (-112)
The Grizzlies are looking to get back on track after a loss to the Cavaliers, with Ja Morant continuing to play at an MVP level. Morant’s 44-point performance against Cleveland reminded him of his ability to take over a game, while Jaren Jackson Jr.’s return has strengthened the Grizzlies’ defense. Jackson’s shot-blocking and rebounding will be key as Memphis looks to extend their playoff push.
The Trail Blazers enter this matchup on a two-game winning streak, but the wins came against rebuilding teams like the Raptors and Wizards. Portland has struggled with injuries and inconsistency, particularly defensively against winning teams. It won’t be easy to score against Memphis’ defense, led by Jackson. With Morant leading the way, Memphis should cover the 5-point spread at home and continue their strong season.
