The gut punches just keep coming in Daredevil: Born Again.
For all the characters who are going to lose it following the final actions of episode 3, there’s one we’ve not seen yet who will handle the major development more drastically than anyone else. But before we get too vague with episode 3’s key details, let’s take stock of a few items for episode 4.
Disney+ is dropping episodes of Daredevil: Born Again at 9 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesdays. After dropping the first two episodes together, the third received a solo release — which will also be the case with the next episode. Daredevil: Born Again episode 4 will be available on Tuesday, March 18 at 9 p.m. ET.
Timing notes
Episode 3 of Daredevil: Born Again clocked in at 46:08, making it the shortest of the show’s first three episodes.
With the first episode clocking in at just over an hour (60:49), it would seem that we’ve seen the full range of episode length for this series. We have seen significant fluctuations from Marvel shows in the past, but the tone of Daredevil: Born Again does seem to warrant episode lengths in the range of 45-55 minutes.

- This show did an amazing job of developing White Tiger in such a short amount of time. Being a character who was only in the mix for a short bit, his death could come across as a mere plot device if done incorrectly. Instead, Daredevil: Born Again found a brilliant way to flesh him out in the courtroom before his untimely end.
- Speaking of White Tiger’s untimely end, we saw his attacker dawning The Punisher symbol right before the credits began to roll. If the man who attacked White Tiger was Frank Castle, I’ll be stunned. He has his issues within the hero community, but that is not the type of individual The Punisher would go after. With the show establishing that a certain group of individuals have The Punisher’s symbol tattooed on their bodies, it stands to reason it could have been one of them or someone they’re affiliated with. If that theory proves true, Castle is about to run rampant.
- Retaliation from Castle could play into Kingpin’s hand. Wilson Fisk has made his feelings about vigilantes clear, and one of them seemingly losing control could help Kingpin create more power for himself. That power could manifest in quite a few ways. In the Devil’s Reign story from Marvel Comics, for which this series was an inspiration, Fisk employed villains to work as a superpowered group of officers who answered to him. That series saw a plethora of Marvel characters join Fisk, which likely won’t be the case here — but he may only need a couple characters to employ this tactic effectively in the show.
