The Knicks are 7.5-point favorites against the Heat, with a total of 209.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Here are the latest prop bet lines for Karl-Anthony Towns: o/u 25.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.5 three-pointers.

After a long trip on the West Coast, the Knicks are back at Madison Square Garden on Monday night. The Big East Tournament has concluded, which means that the Knicks once again have control of their home building. For Karl-Anthony Towns, this will be his first time playing in New York since February 20th. It has been two weeks since the Knicks played at home, and they need a refresh. It has been four games since the Knicks lost Jalen Brunson to an ankle injury. They are 2-2 in those games and their offense is not the same whatsoever. The Knicks are averaging 116.7 points per game this season, but just 109.5 points per game (in regulation) over their last four, despite one great offensive game where they scored 133 points against the Kings.

The Knicks need to find a way to play without Jalen Brunson because they will likely be missing him for another couple of weeks. One positive is that they have been a better defensive team since losing Brunson. They are allowing 112.4 points per game this season, but just 103 points per game over these last four. That is also due to Mitchell Robinson’s return to the team. Robinson was out for the entire season with an injury but has been back for the past seven games. Robinson is averaging 15 minutes per game, which is taking away some minutes from Towns. The Knicks are using Robinson to anchor their best defensive lineup and that is seeing him average 4.3 rebounds per game, despite the limited minutes.

Karl-Anthony Towns has not been rebounding as well since the loss of Jalen Brunson. He is averaging 9.5 rebounds per game over the last four games, compared to his season average of 13.1 rebounds per game. There are multiple factors that are likely contributing to this decline in production. The loss of Brunson has put added offensive pressure on Towns. The Knicks now rely on him to be their primary offensive threat, and that takes away some of the effort that Towns used to expend on the boards. The return of Mitchell Robinson has also decreased Towns’ minutes. He played just 30 minutes on Saturday night against the Warriors and 28 minutes earlier in the week against the Kings. Between the decreased minutes and Robinson taking a bigger share of the rebounds, my favorite prop bet for this game is for Towns to have under 11.5 rebounds. He has gone under this number in three of his past four games, and the Heat are a good rebounding team, ranking 5th in the NBA in defensive rebounding percentage.

Best Bet: Karl-Anthony Towns u11.5 Rebounds (+110)
