Domantas Sabonis Injury Update: 3/17/25 vs. the Grizzlies

It was quite the night for Domantas Sabonis ($9,400) on Monday. In the first half, he had to go to the locker room for a cut above the eye. Early in the second half, Sabonis went for a layup but severely rolled his right ankle in the process. He was unable to shoot the free throws, went to the locker room and will not return.

Prior to exiting, Sabonis contributed six points, a rebound and four assists in 12 minutes.

Jonas Valanciunas ($7,400) was the substitue for Sabonis, and he should thrive for however long Sabonis is out. Valanciunas recently started six games for Sabonis and averaged 26.6 minutes, 12 points, 12.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.0 blocks.
