Tonight’s UFC Fight Night at the UFC Apex features a five-round middleweight bout between No. 8 Marvin Vettori and No. 12 Roman Dolidze. The Prelims will start at 4 p.m. ET, while the Main Card begins at 7:00 p.m. ET. Will Vettori win his first fight in two years, or can Dolidze avenge his loss to the “Italian Dream”?
Check out my preview for the entire card, right here.
Here are my two best bets for UFC Fight Night: Vettori vs. Dolidze 2.
Marvin Vettori To Win by Decision (+105)
Marvin Vettori is 9-5-1 in the UFC and has lost three of his previous five fights. Vettori lost his last fight to Jared Cannonier in June 2023. His last victory came against his next opponent, Dolidze, whom he beat via unanimous decision in March 2023.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Vettori is a -148 favorite while Dolidze is the underdog at +124. But the better value play is to get Vettori to win this bout by decision. That is because only two of Vettori’s nine wins in the UFC have been by finish. Vettori’s previous four victories have come by decision and he hasn’t submitted an opponent since June 2020.
Kevin Vallejos To Win By KO/TKO/DQ (-150)
An exciting prospect from Argentina, Kevin Vallejos, is making his official UFC debut after having a first-round knockout in September during season eight of Dana White’s Contender Series. At 23 years old, Vallejos is 14-1 with 12 finishes in his MMA career. The lone loss in his career came on the Contender Series against rising star Jean Silva in September 2023.
But after he suffered his first defeat, Vallejos has finished his last three opponents. At 5’7″, he is the smaller fighter in this bout against SeungWoo Choi, who is 6’0″. Vallejos is a massive -470 favorite in this matchup on DraftKings Sportsbook. But the better value is to get Vallejos to win by finish since that is what he is accustomed to doing when stepping in the cage.
