The Knicks face the Warriors in San Francisco on Saturday night. Here are the best player props to consider for Karl-Anthony Towns on DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Knicks are seven-point underdogs against the Warriors, with a total of 228.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Here are the latest prop bet lines for Karl-Anthony Towns: o/u 24.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 three-pointers.

New York is on the fifth game of its West Coast road trip. This game against the Warriors will be the last before the Knicks head back to Madison Square Garden. The trip has not been good for the Knicks, mainly because they lost Jalen Brunson to an ankle injury in the first game against the Lakers. The Knicks lost that game in overtime after Brunson went down, and then they lost the following game to the Clippers. However, they have won their last two, including an overtime thriller against the Trailblazers on Wednesday night. It was a much-needed two nights off for the Knicks after that game and they should be feeling fresh for this matchup with Golden State.

The Knicks and Warriors faced off at Madison Square Garden in the Knicks’ last game before this West Coast road trip. The Warriors won that game, but Karl-Anthony Towns was unable to play in that game. Towns will be ready to go for this game, but now the Knicks will be without Jalen Brunson. The Knicks have had a much different look in the three games without Brunson. This has also coincided with Mitchell Robinson’s return to the Knicks for the first time this season. The Knicks’ rotation now looks much different with no Brunson, the introduction of Robinson and players like Landry Shamet and Cameron Payne getting increased minutes.

On the offensive end, Brunson was the Knicks’ leading scorer with Towns as the second contributor. Since Brunson’s injury, the scoring has been much more balanced. Towns has continued to contribute at a consistent rate but players like Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby have stepped up on the offensive end as well to pick up the slack. One thing that has been a trend over these three games is a decrease in Towns’ rebounding. Towns is second in the NBA in rebounding with 13.2 rebounds per game. However, in the three games without Brunson, Towns is averaging just 8.6 rebounds per game. It is a small sample size but especially with the return of Robinson, there is less pressure on Towns to be the Knicks’ primary rebounder.

My favorite prop bet for this game is for Towns to have under 11.5 rebounds. Towns has gone under this number in five out of nine games since the All-Star break and in all three games since Brunson’s injury. Towns is trying to shoulder a bigger offensive burden without Brunson, and that is taking away from his rebounding effort. Josh Hart and Anunoby have been contributing to rebounding the ball, and with the return of Robinson, Towns is able to play on the perimeter more when they’re both on the floor. The Warriors are third in the NBA in rebounds per game and won’t let Towns get any cheap boards. That should keep him under this number for the fourth straight game.

Best Bet: Karl-Anthony Towns u11.5 Rebounds (-115)
