Scottie Barnes Injury Update: 3/14/25 vs. the Jazz

UPDATE: Barnes is available.

Scottie Barnes ($8,700) has been dealing with a pinkie injury which caused him to miss Wednesday’s game. He is questionable for Friday’s contest against the Utah Jazz.

RJ Barrett ($7,700) also missed Wednesday’s game due to a personal matter, but he’s off the injury report and available for Friday. If Barnes is unable to go, he would soak up a ton of usage. With Barnes off the court this season, Barrett has seen a 5.9% usage rate increase.

Jakob Poeltl ($6,100) is out for “rest.” There is no back-to-back scenario. Toronto is 11th in the Eastern Conference with a 23-43 record.

Colin Castleton ($4,100) and Orlando Robinson ($5,000) should soak up all the center minutes with Poeltl out. Castleton played 40 minutes on Wednesday, finishing with 32.5 FPTS. Robinson played 32 minutes on Wednesday and put up 51 FPTS. Toronto played a double-big lineup on Wednesday.

Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
