Jaren Jackson Jr. Injury Update: Friday 3/14/25 vs. the Cavaliers

UPDATE: Jackson is available.

Jaren Jackson Jr. ($8,400) missed the last five games due to a Grade 2 left ankle sprain. He’s been upgraded to questionable for Friday’s contest against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

It’s a positive development since the initial worry was that he’d miss a month of action.

Memphis has been 4-1 without JJJ. The lone loss was to the Oklahoma City Thunder, but the four wins were over the Dallas Mavericks, New Orleans Pelicans, Phoenix Suns and Utah Jazz. Memphis faces a significant test on Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. JJJ’s size would be a welcome addition against Jarrett Allen ($6,400) and Evan Mobley ($8,600).

If JJJ returns, GG Jackson ($4,100) would return to a reserve role.
